Fragkosiko (Φραγκόσυκο) is the Greek word for the prickly pear cactus, a plant deeply rooted in the landscape and culture of the Greek islands. Its bright pink fruit and resilient nature have made it a symbol of the Mediterranean—beautiful, enduring, and bursting with flavor.
The prickly pear inspired not only our name but also our visual identity and flavor philosophy. You'll see its colors woven throughout our space—the soft greens of the cactus pads, the vibrant pink of the fruit, and the warm earth tones of the Cycladic landscape.
Like the fragkosiko, our restaurant is about thriving in balance—honoring tradition while embracing the new, offering a welcoming presence in a beautiful, sometimes unexpected place.
We source from Naxos farmers, fishermen, and producers whenever possible, bringing the island's bounty to your plate.
